Every Escape Lounge you can book with a single-visit pass, from Phoenix and Portland to Edinburgh and Brisbane, with locations, hours and what's included.
Last updated: October 06, 2026

Escape Lounges are independent airport lounges that welcome passengers of any airline, whatever their ticket class, at airports across the US, the UK and Australia. This guide, part of our complete guide to airport lounge access, lists every Escape Lounge you can book on LoungEasy, with its location and what you get inside. Each is listed at €55 per person at the time of writing (September 2026).
What are Escape Lounges?
Escape Lounges are run by CAVU, the travel business of Manchester Airports Group (MAG). Unlike airline clubs, they don't depend on airline status or a premium ticket: any traveler with a boarding pass for a departing flight and a valid pass can visit. Escape describes complimentary freshly prepared food and drinks, fast Wi-Fi, charging points and print, scan and copy services, and its lounges are airside, after security.
On LoungEasy, you can book Escape Lounges at 18 airports in the US and Puerto Rico, at Edinburgh and at Brisbane, plus the Essence Lounge at Bristol, which is run as Essence by Escape Lounges.
Escape Lounges vs airline clubs
Airline clubs are built around an airline's own passengers: you usually need a premium ticket, elite status or a membership, and you can only use them when you fly that airline or its partners. Escape Lounges work the other way round. Your airline doesn't matter, there is no membership, and you pay per visit, which suits travelers who fly different airlines a few times a year.
Escape Lounges in the US

- Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX): two lounges, one in Terminal 3 at the intersection of the E and F gates, open from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and one in Terminal 4 across from gate B22, open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Both are on the Phoenix airport lounges page.
- Portland (PDX): the Escape Lounge at Portland is in the D gates, between D8 and D10, and is open from 4:30 a.m. to midnight. It is the only Escape Lounge on LoungEasy that lists showers; the Portland airport lounge page has the details.
- Sacramento (SMF): two lounges, one in Terminal A and one in Terminal B, both on level 2 and open from 4 a.m., according to Escape. Both are on the Sacramento airport lounges page.
- Oakland (OAK): in Terminal 1, between gates 8 and 8A, open from 4 a.m.
- Reno-Tahoe (RNO): in the central corridor between Concourses B and C, open from 4:30 a.m.

- Kansas City (MCI): in Concourse A, by gate A5.
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG): in Concourse B, next to gate 21.
- Columbus (CMH): near Wolfgang Puck.

- Hartford (BDL): next to gate 1 at Bradley International.
- Providence (PVD): next to gate 18.
- Syracuse (SYR): on the right before Terminal A, with runway views.
- Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP): on level 2.
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL): between the E and F gates.
- West Palm Beach (PBI): near the entrance to Concourses A and B, and also reachable from Concourse C.
Puerto Rico
At San Juan (SJU), the Escape Lounge is after security and duty free: turn right toward the gates, and it is on the left after the gift shop. It lists runway views and baby-changing facilities.
Escape Lounges in the UK
At Edinburgh, the Escape Lounge at Edinburgh Airport is after duty free: turn left and follow the signs for gates 4 and 5. It is listed as open from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and appears on the Edinburgh Airport lounges page alongside the Aspire Lounge; our guide to Edinburgh Airport lounges compares the two. At Bristol, the Essence Lounge on the mezzanine above the departure lounge is run as Essence by Escape Lounges and opens at 3:30 a.m. for early holiday departures.
Escape also runs lounges at Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands, including The Executive by Escape Lounges, which opened in Manchester's Terminal 2 in July 2026.
Escape Lounge in Australia
In Brisbane, the Escape Lounge at Brisbane Airport is on the International Terminal's mezzanine, on level 4: take the escalators opposite gate 82, and it is the first door on the right. Escape lists it as open from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. The Brisbane airport lounge page has the details.
What's included at an Escape Lounge
Amenities vary by location, but the Escape Lounges on LoungEasy typically list:
- Hot and cold food, often with vegetarian options
- Alcoholic and soft drinks
- Free Wi-Fi, flight screens and, at many US locations, printing
- A family room at many US locations, including Phoenix, Sacramento, Fort Lauderdale and Minneapolis–Saint Paul
- Runway views at some, such as Kansas City, Syracuse, Tulsa and San Juan
Rules to know before you go
- Families are welcome. Escape says children are allowed in its lounges, and many US locations list a family room. If you're unsure what your children need, contact LoungEasy's support team before you book.
- Dress for a family-friendly space. Escape asks all guests to wear appropriate attire, and footwear must be worn at all times.
- Check your terminal. Phoenix and Sacramento each have two Escape Lounges, one per terminal, so book the one on your side of security.
- Arrive with time to spare. Many pay-per-use lounges admit guests up to three hours before their scheduled departure, so plan your arrival within that window.
Is an Escape Lounge worth it?
An Escape Lounge suits travelers who fly a few times a year and want a meal, a drink and a quiet seat without paying for a membership. Most open early, several at 4 or 4:30 a.m., which makes them useful before a first-wave departure, and the family rooms at many US locations help when you're traveling with children. If you reach security less than an hour before boarding, you'll get less out of a pass.
Escape Lounges and credit cards
Some premium cards include Escape Lounge access in the US, such as the Platinum Card from American Express. If your card doesn't cover the lounge at your airport, or you don't have one, a single-visit pass works on its own. Former LoungeBuddy users will find more options in our guide to LoungeBuddy alternatives.
How to book an Escape Lounge
- Find your departure airport on LoungEasy and check that the Escape Lounge is in your terminal.
- Book a pass for each traveler: the total is shown before you pay.
- Show your booking and boarding pass at the lounge desk.
Booking ahead secures your visit, as lounges can stop admitting walk-in guests when they are full. LoungEasy passes are non-refundable unless they are marked as refundable at checkout, and if a lounge refuses entry even though your pass is valid, you are refunded once the refusal is confirmed with the operator.
