How to get there

Hazrat Shahjalal International (DAC)

Airside - After passport control and security check, turn right and proceed up the stairs at the end of the hall to the Level 2, then turn left. Cross over the passage to the Lounge located on the left hand side. The lounge is accessible from Terminal 1 and 2 and the same directions apply to access from both.

    This is my second time at Balaka Lounge, and I have to say, the service has been excellent. A special mention to Yousuf, whose outstanding service and hospitality truly made the experience memorable. His professionalism and attention to detail are a big reason I came back for a second time. Highly recommended! ⭐️

    Last few months had been a roller-coaster ride in terms of traveling on work. Balaka Lounge has somewhat became a second home, a place where I lay back after completion of check-in and immigration. Being a regular comes with perks. The Lounge staff now recognize my face, welcome me every time I step in, bring me my favorite snacks (they now know I am not a heavy eater like many visiting the lounge), with intermittent replenishment of a cup of Americano. Special mention is due to Mr. Omar Faruk, who generally during the night shifts takes care of me like I am his family. Thanks to everyone, who serve the guests visiting this lounge and thanks to Inter-Continental for the high-class service they provide, living up to the promises of a property belonging to IHG! Until next time ☺️
