How to get there

Ronchi dei Legionari Airport (TRS)

Airside - Do not go directly to the lounge but first register as a cardholder at the ticket desk opposite the check-in desks. The staff there will provide a key code for lounge entrance upon presentation of a valid membership. Proceed through security check, turn left & proceed towards gates 8 & 9.

    La TRS Lounge dell'Aeroporto Friuli Venezia Giulia di Trieste (TRS) è una piacevolissima sorpresa che trasforma l'attesa del volo in un momento di totale relax e raffinatezza. Situata subito dopo i controlli di sicurezza, questa sala VIP unisce l'efficienza moderna al calore dell'ospitalità giuliana. Spaziosa, luminosa e arredata con un gusto contemporaneo elegante. Le ampie vetrate offrono una splendida vista sulla pista, regalando un'atmosfera rilassante e inondata di luce naturale. Le sedute sono comode e ben distanziate, ideali sia per chi vuole lavorare in tranquillità sia per chi desidera semplicemente staccare la spina. L'offerta enogastronomica rende omaggio alle eccellenze del territorio. Oltre ai classici snack dolci e salati, spicca una selezione di vini locali d'eccellenza del Collio e del Friuli Grave, perfetti per un brindisi prima di salire a bordo. Non manca un ottimo caffè espresso, servito come tradizione triestina comanda. Wi-Fi ad alta velocità, prese di ricarica universali e USB a ogni postazione, schermi con i dettagli dei voli sempre aggiornati e un'area lavoro dedicata per chi viaggia per business. L'ambiente è eccezionalmente silenzioso e riservato. Il personale accoglie i passeggeri con un sorriso e una cortesia impeccabili, dimostrando grande attenzione a ogni singola esigenza.

    Nice and cosy small lounge. I appreciate the peace and quiet. There is no warm food, but some snacks and drinks, which is understandable for small airport.

    Honestly I don’t know why everyone is so upset with this lounge. For an airport this small to have any type of priority pass lounge is a relief. While it’s true it’s essentially an ad for illy but who cares, all the coffee drinks are amazing and they have a few prepackage snacks soda and water that will tie you over from buying anything. They even have a working computer. The lounge is unmonitored and unstaffed which is understandable due to airport size, again thankful for any lounge. Important: you need to get access at the ticket counter before security otherwise you won’t be able to get in.

    A few things have changed from previous reviews. The lounge is now staffed with a check in desk. Therefore there is no need to get a ticket from front desk or the ticket office pre-security. This wasn’t clear initially as many online sources still incorrectly state this. Lounge is basic but clean and adequate. There are many instant illy machines for espresso, basic snacks, basic sandwiches, and a fridge with sodas, water and wine. We were not expecting a small airport to have a lounge so this was a pleasant surprise.
