Birmingham Airport Lounges: Aspire, No1 and More

Birmingham Airport has several lounges, and 2026 has changed the line-up. This guide, part of our guide to the UK airport lounge pass, explains the Birmingham Airport lounge options you can book on LoungEasy, the refurbished Aspire Lounge in the South Terminal and No1 Birmingham, what each includes and which suits your gate. Each is listed at €55 per person at the time of writing (September 2026).

Birmingham Airport lounges at a glance

  • Aspire Lounge (South): next to Gate 1, on the side of the airport that serves gates 1 to 20
  • No1 Birmingham: in the main departure area, between WHSmith and Next, listed as open from 04:00 to 21:00
  • AeroSpa: the airport spa, straight after duty free in international departures

All three are airside, after security.

Aspire Lounge (South)

After security, go through World Duty Free, turn left into the main departure hall and follow the signs for gates 1 to 20. The Aspire Lounge in Birmingham's South Terminal is next to Gate 1. Aspire refreshed the lounge in 2026, and it now has seats for around 135 guests. The lounge page on LoungEasy lists:

  • Hot and cold food, snacks and fresh fruit, with halal and vegetarian options
  • Alcoholic and soft drinks, including champagne
  • Free Wi-Fi, flight screens, newspapers and magazines
  • Runway views

Breakfast is self-service, with hot items such as bacon, sausages and eggs alongside pastries, and beer, wine and house spirits are included, with premium drinks available at extra cost. The refreshed lounge also has four- and six-seat booths, which suit families and groups travelling together.

Aspire admits guests up to three hours before their scheduled departure, and children are welcome with an adult who has a valid booking. Opening hours change with the season: Aspire lists the lounge as open until 18:00, opening at 03:30 from April to September and at 06:00 from October to December.

No1 Birmingham

After duty free, No1 Birmingham is directly ahead in the main departure area, between WHSmith and Next. It is listed as open from 04:00 to 21:00 for international departures and lists hot and cold food, snacks and fresh fruit, vegetarian options, alcoholic and soft drinks, free Wi-Fi, flight screens and television.

AeroSpa

AeroSpa at Birmingham is a spa rather than a lounge, straight after duty free in international departures, and is listed as open from 05:00 to 21:00, for travellers who would rather spend their pre-flight time on a treatment.

Which Birmingham lounge should you book?

  • Flying from gates 1 to 20: the Aspire Lounge (South) is next to Gate 1, so you are close to your gate.
  • Early or late flights: No1 Birmingham opens at 04:00 and is listed until 21:00.
  • Runway views: the Aspire Lounge (South) lists them among its amenities.
  • Not sure of your gate yet: No1 is in the main departure area rather than by a particular gate.

The Birmingham Airport lounges page on LoungEasy shows each option with its directions, amenities and the price per person.

Other lounges at Birmingham

Birmingham has other lounges too. In June 2026 Aspire opened two premium lounges in the North Terminal, Luxe by Aspire and Suite by Aspire, and closed the old Aspire Lounge North. The airport also has a Clubrooms lounge for guests aged 12 and over, and an Emirates lounge for Emirates and Qantas passengers.

How to book a Birmingham Airport lounge

  1. Choose your lounge on LoungEasy and add each traveller in your group.
  2. Pay online: the price is per person and the total is shown before you pay.
  3. Arrive within three hours of your departure and show your booking and boarding pass at the desk.

Booking ahead secures your visit, as lounges can stop admitting walk-in guests when they are full. LoungEasy passes are non-refundable unless they are marked as refundable at checkout, and if a lounge refuses entry even though your pass is valid, you are refunded once the refusal is confirmed with the operator.
