Manchester Airport Lounges: Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 Compared (2026)
Terminal 1 has closed. Here are the Manchester Airport lounges in Terminals 2 and 3, and how to book the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 2.
Last updated: October 08, 2026

Manchester Airport has changed. Terminal 1 has closed, so every departure now leaves from Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, and the lounge you can use depends on which of the two you fly from. This guide, part of our guide to the UK airport lounge pass, explains the Manchester Airport lounge options in each terminal and how to book the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 2 on LoungEasy, listed at €55 per person at the time of writing (September 2026).
Manchester Airport lounges in 2026: what changed
For decades Manchester ran three terminals. After a ten-year, £1.3 billion expansion of Terminal 2, the airport confirmed in March 2026 that Terminal 1 could fully close. The rule now is simple:
- Terminal 2: almost every airline, from easyJet, Jet2 and TUI to Emirates, Qatar Airways and Virgin Atlantic
- Terminal 3: Ryanair
If you are searching for a Terminal 1 lounge, those lounges have gone with the terminal. Check your airline, then choose a lounge in Terminal 2 or 3.
Terminal 2 lounges

The Aspire Lounge in Manchester Terminal 2 is the one you can book on LoungEasy. After security, follow the signs for "Premium Lounges", go up to the duty free level and through the main departure lounge, then follow the Aspire Lounge signs. Aspire places the lounge by the C gates.

Terminal 2 also has lounges run by other operators, including Escape Lounges. The Aspire Lounge is the Terminal 2 lounge you can book on LoungEasy.
Terminal 3 lounges
Terminal 3 now serves Ryanair, and the airport is refurbishing it with new seating, a bar and a restaurant in space freed up by the closure of Terminal 1. Aspire and Escape Lounges both run lounges in the terminal. You can see which Manchester lounges are available to book on the Manchester Airport lounges page.
