Gatwick Lounges: North and South Terminal Compared
Which Gatwick lounge to book in the North or South Terminal: No1 and My Lounge compared, with locations, opening hours, amenities and tips.
By AdminLast updated: October 06, 2026

Gatwick lounges are split between two separate terminals, so the first thing to check is whether you fly from the North or the South Terminal. This guide, part of our overview of London airport lounges, compares the lounges you can book in each terminal: No1 and My Lounge in both, plus AeroSpa in the South Terminal. Every Gatwick lounge on LoungEasy is listed at €55 per person at the time of writing (September 2026).
Gatwick lounges at a glance
- North Terminal: No1 Lounge Gatwick North (04:00 to 21:00) and My Lounge Gatwick North (04:00 to 20:00), both in the lounge pavilion
- South Terminal: No1 Lounge Gatwick South (04:00 to 21:00), My Lounge Gatwick South (04:00 to 20:00) and AeroSpa, the spa in international departures
The two terminals have separate departure lounges, so you can only use the lounges in the terminal your flight leaves from. Your airline and booking confirmation tell you which one that is.
Gatwick North Terminal lounges
No1 Lounge Gatwick North
After security, follow the signs for "Airport Lounges". The No1 Lounge at Gatwick North is straight ahead as you enter the lounge pavilion. It opens at 04:00 and closes at 21:00, serves domestic and international departures, and lists:
- Hot and cold food, snacks and fresh fruit
- Alcoholic and soft drinks
- Free Wi-Fi, flight screens and television
- A family room and disabled access
My Lounge Gatwick North
My Lounge at Gatwick North is on the left as you enter the same lounge pavilion. It opens at 04:00 and closes at 20:00, serves domestic and international departures, and lists hot and cold food, alcoholic and soft drinks, free Wi-Fi and a games area.
Gatwick South Terminal lounges
No1 Lounge Gatwick South
From the upper level of the main departure hall, follow the signs for No1 Lounges: the No1 Lounge at Gatwick South is reached through the corridor between Dixons and JD Sports. It is open from 04:00 to 21:00 for international departures and lists hot and cold food, snacks, alcoholic and soft drinks, free Wi-Fi and flight screens. Some premium drinks are charged separately.
My Lounge Gatwick South
Follow the signs for "Airport Lounges" and "My Lounge": My Lounge at Gatwick South is on the upper level of the departure hall. It opens from 04:00 to 20:00 for domestic and international departures, lists alcoholic and soft drinks, vegetarian options and a games area, and, according to Gatwick Airport, is the only My Lounge at the airport with an outdoor terrace.
AeroSpa
In international departures in the South Terminal, AeroSpa is a spa rather than a lounge, listed as open from 05:00 to 21:00, for travellers who would rather spend their pre-flight time on a treatment.
No1 or My Lounge: which should you book?
- Late departures: the No1 lounges stay open until 21:00, an hour later than My Lounge.
- Families: No1 Gatwick North lists a family room, and both My Lounge sites list a games area.
- Outdoor space: My Lounge in the South Terminal has an outdoor terrace.
- Early flights: all four lounges open at 04:00, in time for the first departures.
Whichever you pick, you can see the full amenities list, directions and the price per person on the Gatwick Airport lounges page before you book.
What a Gatwick lounge visit looks like
- Clear security in your departure terminal and follow the signs for "Airport Lounges" or for your lounge by name.
- Check in at the lounge desk with your booking and your boarding pass.
- Settle in: help yourself to food and drinks, connect to the Wi-Fi and keep an eye on the flight screens.
- Leave for your gate in good time. Gate numbers appear on the screens, and some gates are a long walk from the main departure lounge, so don't wait for the final call.
Both No1 and My Lounge are run by No1 Lounges, the company behind lounges at Heathrow, Luton, Birmingham and Jersey too. The main differences at Gatwick come down to opening hours and facilities rather than to how you get in: the booking works the same way for both.
Other lounges at Gatwick
Gatwick also has lounges run by other operators and airlines in both terminals. This guide focuses on the lounges you can book on LoungEasy.
Tips for using a Gatwick lounge
- Check your terminal before you book. If you arrive at the wrong one, the free shuttle train links the North and South Terminals before security.
- Arrive with time to spare. Most pay-per-use lounges admit you up to three hours before your scheduled departure.
- Keep your boarding pass ready. You'll show it at the lounge desk with your booking.
- Book everyone in your group. Each traveller needs a pass, and the total for your group is shown before you pay.
LoungEasy passes are non-refundable unless they are marked as refundable at checkout. LoungEasy guarantees that the lounge will accept you during its opening hours: if a lounge refuses entry even though your pass is valid, you are refunded once the refusal is confirmed with the operator.
